About JLM Design Build
I grew up in high-end residential construction, learning early what quality work looks like—and where this industry often falls short.
In 2017, I started JLM Design Build to offer homeowners a more professional experience from start to finish: clear expectations, organized projects, and honest budgeting.
We focus on full renovations and additions throughout the Cincinnati region. What I enjoy most is helping homeowners see the potential in the home they already live in. Walls can move. Layouts can change.
The right design can completely transform how a home feels.
We’re a small team of four, backed by trusted licensed subcontractors. I keep our team tight so we stay
accountable and hands-on throughout every project.
Outside of work, I have a young family of four. We spend most of our time outdoors hiking and staying active. I value structure and doing things the right way. That mindset carries into how we run projects.

Yes. We provide a detailed proposal during pre-construction. Any changes are documented and approved
before moving forward.
How long does a renovation take?
Pre-construction typically takes 1–2 months. Construction timelines vary by scope, and schedules are
updated throughout the project.
Can we live in the home during construction?
In many cases, yes. We keep sites organized and communicate daily. Larger projects may require temporary
relocation.
How do payments work?
Fixed price contracts with structured milestone payments. Direct payments and proof of funds required.
How far out are you booked?
Typically 6–8 months in advance.
What happens after completion?
We stand behind our work and address concerns promptly
